Road Barrier

On the highways in the last several kilometres south of the DMZ, you see many of these elevated barriers. In the event of a North Korean attack, southern forces would retreat quickly along the highway and then blow up these pre-set barriers, causing tons of rubble to fall onto the highway and prevent North Korean forces from using those highways to move south quickly.
